For over ten years from 1998, we traveled the world researching and developing the finest ingredients and formulas suited to Japanese skin. In 2008, we renewed the Baby madonna range as baby skincare with a high proportion of certified organic plant ingredients. In 2010, we launched Organic madonna, a new organic skincare range made in Japan.
Our Commitment to Organic Skincare
A product labeled organic or bearing organic certification may appear to be made entirely from organic ingredients. In reality, it may contain only a few percent, or a claim of 100% organic ingredients may carry a note excluding water. Japan still lacks strict regulations defining organic cosmetics. After more than ten years of research, we concluded that maximizing organic plant ingredients in the entire formula matters: plants naturally care gently for skin and can also support age care. Organic madonna uses no added water and contains over 90% organic plant ingredients*, meeting a high international standard for organic skincare.

Organic madonna skincare uses no added water and a high proportion of organic ingredients to enhance its benefits for skin. Products containing at least 60% organic raw materials in the complete formula* carry our Organic combination rate mark.

Since our founding in 1977, Madonna has thoroughly studied the changes and characteristics of skin during pregnancy. Our organic skincare range is the result of ten years of research. It uses gentle organic ingredients suitable even during sensitive periods, with a subtle natural aroma for those sensitive to strong fragrances.
Carefully Selected Organic Ingredients
Organic madonna is made with certified organic ingredients carefully selected in Japan and around the world. Its high proportion of organic ingredients includes aloe vera leaf water, traditionally used in skincare; deeply moisturizing shea butter; and argan oil, a beauty oil obtained only in Morocco.
Original Packaging Design
Gentle ingredients extracted from plants carefully grown without pesticides are sensitive to light. Light-blocking containers are essential to preserve their quality and feel.
Inspired by organic living, nature and relaxation, Organic madonna uses deep green in an original package design full of freshness and vitality.
Another distinctive feature is our registered organic mark, which clearly shows the percentage of organic ingredients at a glance.
